Following information can be derived from such a chart: If the trait is Autosomal or Sex-linked. If the trait is Dominant or Recessive. What are the probability of children being normal, carrier or Sickle-cell anaemic if parents suffering from it or are carriers mate. If it will be harmful for a carrier/non-effected person to mate with anothet carrier or sickle cell positive person with respect to children.
